Two Birds

Take me out to the outskirts. Tell me something that I don't know. He's a false prophet and such a flirt. Everyone's praying for a no-show.
Save me a penny for all your thoughts. Sail me a down a river with two birds. He's a dead-ringer. Catch and kill. Everyone's searching for the right words.
And I'm never going to run. All I do is run.
Concrete's in my blood - a DNA of pouring mud. It's crystal clear. Lay the tile, let the mortar set. Handsome devils fear to tread. How cavalier.
What is the magic word? Who is the go-between? The longest note ever heard. The brightest light ever seen.

Deadbeat

Back and forth. Give and take. Tie the bow for heaven's sake. Light-hearted head. Light-headed heart. Cut the ribbon before you start. What you think is a strong hold is nothing but a strong arm when all is told.
No deadbeat dads only good sports with big ideas on child support. Like get some cash. We're not boxed in. The dust will settle when you settle in. All you intend is all you intend.
I'm all for ambiance and ambiguous environments, but the hand-me-down hand me downs and henceforth, therefore, nevermores will scare you speechless and begging for something good.
The last one standing in the neighborhood.

Close Calls, Near Misses
03:36

We find ourselves defined by how we defend ourselves. Stand up and make right. I mimic vital functions like machines inside machines picking cotton but not a fight.
I've got clear eyes but a full heart. Into the brine. Forced to restart. I'm growing to know near misses. Where have you been? Near my Mrs.
If you don't ask questions, you don't hear lies. So put on a countenance like robots built by robots. And listen you can count on it--It's something that's assured.

Patchwork

quilt over body
the stars are integers
fabric is grabbing
suiting your figure
my whisper is honey
the night is vinegar
sweet talking simple
constellations to consider
patchwork bodies
the heavens are numbered
count ribs with fingers
feel unencumbered
my whisper is sibilant
and the night is silent

Mill Hill to Main. You'll feel the same.
Go find some rhymes and mind your business.

Go buy some rhymes and cheat the business.
